Buses are the most popular way to travel in Botswana. Once a bus has finished its route, it congregates with the other buses at Bus Rinks in towns and cities, where they pick and drop off passengers.
One thing that is frustrating is that buses have no schedule, they simply leave when they are full. This means a lot of waiting for other people to show up. When traveling around the country, I end up spending a lot of time in Bus Rinks.
One of the best thing about Bus Rinks in Botswana is that there will usually be a pool table outside, in the sun or under a tent, with a bunch of men hanging out. Even though I have never played a game, I think they are super awesome and a great way to kill time before the bus leaves for home.
