Natural Disasters
On Friday there was a freak hail storm in my village. I had a window open, and it got demolished. Now I have plastic bags taped to the window pane.
The land lord is the Village Development Committee, which never ever has money. So I’m not going to hold my breath about getting this fixed.
This just adds one more to my list of problems with this house, like giant hole in the roof, messed up plumbing, charred black wall sockets (all of these things were here when I got here). So no big difference anyway.
UPDATE: Due to major disastrous damage to the Junior School, the school is now closed with all boarding students and teachers sent home for 2 weeks! Now I have even less to do - my schedule went from not that busy, to totally wide open. Guess I’ll just really plug away at the MCAT for two weeks!
